We often need a volunteerat the hostel to mix in with and advise the younger backpackers also to help us out in all kinds of ways. This is a fun hostel with a good atmosphere so you should be a good mixer, have fluent english and computer skills. DIY skills also useful for minor maintenance jobs. In exchange you will have a free bunk in the main dorm, free food (thai) LOL and plenty of time off to party. Minimum commitment one month.

If you are an animal lover you may be interested in volunteering at the dog and cat rescue centre here in Samui. They do a wonderful job of looking after the stray dogs and cats here and are supported by donations only. They really appreciate volunteers and welcome any help you can give, They have a small shelter here in Chaweng and another on the other side of the island which has 350 dogs and many cats.

You will do things like bathing dogs or feeding or just playing with them and giving them a bit of attention. You will stay at our hostel and we will arrang transport for you to go to the large centre and return in the evening. We ask that you give a donation of 50bt to the centre each day you go there.
